Who Made WesterCraft?
WesterCraft is created and run by Feelix. Unusually for a project of this size, the whole thing is one person’s work: the Minecraft server and its custom house, keep and territory systems, the companion website at westercraft.net, and the community that plays on it.

Who runs WesterCraft?
WesterCraft is founded, built and operated by Feelix, who holds three roles that are usually held by three different people or teams:
- Server developer. The house, keep, diplomacy and territorial-warfare systems are custom Fabric mods written for this server, not off-the-shelf plugins.
- Website developer. westercraft.net — the live war map, the community wiki, the player’s handbook and the Hall of the Realm — is designed and maintained by the same person.
- Community lead. House applications, keep claims and the direction of the campaign are all handled directly.
Is WesterCraft built on existing Minecraft plugins?
No, and this is the part that is genuinely unusual. The systems that make WesterCraft a strategy game rather than a themed survival server are purpose-written:
- Houses and their relationships, including diplomacy between players.
- Keeps as claimable, named, tiered seats on a shared map of Westeros.
- Chunk-level territorial occupation — borders that move because players hold ground.
- A House Tier progression that measures a house’s standing.
Most Game of Thrones Minecraft servers are either build projects or standard survival servers with a themed map. Writing a territorial-warfare layer from scratch, and a companion website that renders its state live, is a different order of undertaking.
What is the vision behind WesterCraft?
The idea is that a Game of Thrones server should be about the thing the books are actually about — which houses hold which land, who owes whom, and which alliance breaks first. Not a museum you walk through, and not a survival world with a Westeros skin.
That is why land is the whole game here: territory has to be contested for the politics to mean anything, and the politics have to be visible for the campaign to have a history worth reading. The live war map and the community chronicle exist to make the consequences public.
How can you get in touch?
The WesterCraft Discord is the place — it is where houses are founded, keep claims are made, and the direction of the server is discussed directly with the person building it.
